HGFC's
affiliation to Special Olympics GB gives its players another area
of football in which to take part in.
HGFC
is one of 13 clubs within the Yorkshire & Humberside Special Olympics
region.
Our
players take part in regional soccer festivals and also has players
selected to represent the YHSO squads in the National Summer Games.
Players
(and coaches) who take part in the National Games are then eligible
for nomination to the GB squad which takes part in the SO World Games.
Our
annual 5-a-side tournament is also sanctioned by SOGB ensuring that
we operate to the highest standard.
